Saturday Night and Sunday Morning is a 1960 film adaptation
of the novel of the same name by Alan Sillitoe. Sillitoe
adapted the screenplay himself and the film was directed by
Karel Reisz.

The first time that I saw from here to eternity
was late in the sixties. I have been somewhat of
a fan of Frank Sinatra's and I wanted to see
what part he would play in this so called
"military" film. I must admit that I was
surprised at the content of this film. Being in
the military at this time, I could almost under-
stand why the military was against this movie
when it first came out years earlier. That may
have been one of the reasons that I liked it so
much.

A Place In The Sun was one of the 50's most intriguing
films. The release date was October 11, 1951. I celebrated
my third birthday party on that exact date, but it wasn't
until years later that I actually saw that film. As I was
growing older, I developed a big crush, like most of my
friends, on Elizabeth Taylor.
